Veronica began her apprenticeship in 1995. She had the unique opportunity to study under her brother master tattoo artist Craig Helmich. After her apprenticeship she opened Southside Tattoo and Body Piercing February 3, 1997. Being the first female tattoo artist in Pittsburgh and first female to own their own shop in the state of Pennsylvania she was welcomed by all. Having a great beginning opportunity she is completely well rounded in every aspect of tattooing from the best black and grey work to the brightest and boldest color, from butterfly to portrait. The best of the best!
